Our initial mission is to analyze the correlation between the materials used in building and construction, its sustainability. We will delve into how the depletion of our mountains for construction purpose affects the environment as a whole. By understanding the consequences depleting our mountains, we believe all sundries will come on board to persevere our mountains and promote sustainable building practices.
Assessing the impact of Sand and Stone mining on Stakeholders
Secondly, we look at the human perspective of the story. Our aim is to ascertain how the gradual depletion of our mountains affects daily lives, from landowners to contractors, floor workers, and farmers.
From Mountain Site to Construction areas - Analyzing the impact on our safety
The third series of our project will delve into the safety of all habitats, both human and animal. We plan to elaborate on how mountain degradation is impacting the natural dwellings of most living organisms, from trees to animals.
This series of blogs will document our interviews transcribed, pictures from site to site, to provide a detailed picture of the negative consequences of depleting our mountains to build and construct unsustainably. Come on board with us as we go the length and breadth to create awareness for sustainable building practices in Ghana.
